All that red tubing reminds me when my guts where put on the
table beside me during my appendix removal when I woke up midway :)

Literally looks like you spilled your guts on this one.

A pic showing the altenator mounts and the ceramic paint on the manifold, I dont think the paint will last too long!

The altenator is a 90amp unit from a VS Commodore, Easy to find a replacement if it dies too.Open in new window

I brazed 4 bits of flat steel to the crank pully to use for the ECU speed referance. Its a bit agricultural but it should work ok. Ive made a little ally bock that will hold the sensor. It will be welded to the timing case between the blt so i can change the belt easily still.
I still have to finish the sump and modify the distributor for the sync signal.

Can i have a guess of the HP too?

Gibson motorsport Exa
330 horsepower (246kw),
front wheel drive and a locked diff
750kg

The question is: How did they get that kind of power from a 1.5 litre four? Oddly enough, from a typographical error. When the homologation papers came out, someone had inadvertently hit the '3' key instead of the '2' in a fortuitous part. Homolgated turbo size now read 'T03' instead of 'T02'. Fred and the team went "you beauty" and a T03 was fitted. Now 1.5 litres and an old school T03, as anyone would guess, add up to a pretty savage power delivery. This thing would literally change lanes at the merest sniff of boost, and it runs a fair bit of boost too - 23psi (1.6bar ) to be exact. :))

I wonder if anyone knows who bought the speedway e15 and a series hybrid?

Darn if only nissan made that little thing RWD!!!
