Got my little A15 B210 Deluxe Hatch here. $550 and 250K miles. Big plans!

Anyone know what this is and where it's located?? I found this in my hatch buried with my spare.

What are the numbers stamped on it? I can tell you by that.

It says "Model CB" and D8 on one side and has a black 1J or IJ stamped on another side. Its a little too scratched to be completely legible.

The photo looks like it says more than that.

Might be the instrument panel light control. Are you able to dim all the panel controls like the wiper knob, etc? If they don't light up, this part missing could be why.

No, I have no instrument lights whatsoever. I have EBrake light and oil pressure, but no others.

Heres a better view;

For your panel lights, turn the knob with the lamp symbol all the way counter-clockwise.

The part in the photos is the seat belt Chime for a B310.

+ G - should buzz

Connect the stem of the T to 12V and it should buzz intermittently.

This part is not needed. It chimes with the seats belts aren't fastened and IGN on. It fits inside the dash.
