For 10 PSI, you need do nothing to the block. Use the stock crank, rods and pistons and camshaft.

No mods are needed to the head either.

Save your money and invest in a good intercoolor system. You don't need an intercooler, but that's where your biggest power gains will come from.

Keep it all standard inc compression ratio.Intercool if possible and spend the money saved on parts on a GOOD dyno tune.

You wont need an intercooler if you are using a screw type blower but i would recomend one if you are using a rootes type and running over 7 Psi.

I roll with a head save shim. works for me. A lumpy cam with a wider lode sepaeration angle wont hurt either.

A14Force, for 10psi you run a head shim? Seems unnecessary.

ok so i pulled my a15 apart on the weekend to find the block is as stock as a rock, so good starting point.
i have an open chamber head to put on it and would like to no wat sort of compression ppl are running wit 10psi so i can sort some pistons as i have to hone the boars at least 1mm as there is alot of pitting in them.
also can anyone reccomend a good type of cam to run for this setup.
thinking of staying old skool and just building a sic motor and stay wit that rather than going ca so i want to do all the hard work now.
gonna get it all balenced from fly to sc pulley.
anything else i should do while i got it cracked open??

thanks for the input nick :)

For 10 psi w/intercoolor use the stock compression ratio.

Use a cam with wide lobe separation. Tell you cam company the RPMs you want to run and they'll select the best cam for you.
