doesnt look any higher than a stock air filter on the hitachi set up to me. you could do a dodgey and cut the holley filter in half height wise.
Sure it restricts air inlet volumes but it would fit.

if you sit a 32/36 webber on top of the rocker cover that will be about the height. if it hits the bonnett you could just cut a neat hole where it is hitting and put a nice little bonnett scoop of a nissan patroll or something. wouldn't be that hard to make fit.

Oh okay, yeah that isn't an option for me.
Either way I have too much on my hands anyway. You could also use a 'pancake' filter from ram-flo (I think) they are very thin but make up for the induction area because they have a larger perimeter. It's neat setup, and very well priced I think. All the best. You can view topic.
