I went to the autoparts store to get a new lock cylinder +keys for my datto ignition. (previous owner lost the keys)Came up with a 6 and 7 pin. Will both work in the ignition? Or is there a size difference.

my old utes ignition use to open with a nail file. Probably because it was so worn. There are aftermarket ones on ebay at the moment.

Well, on the back of the switch it's a 5 pin electrical.
I'm referring to the lock pins. I'd had to order one just to find out it's not going to fit.

Why not order one for a 1974 B210?

I get the same results. They offer me a 6 and 7 pin(tumbler). I just want to make sure that the one I buy is going to fit before ordering it.
