I'm new to the forum and may be Investing in a 120y(B210)4 door, a shell basically as a project so i need some advice or link me to some websites. Thanks
May be planning to use a CA18det or sr20det(blacktop)

1. what options on upgrades to suspension can i use?
- shock setup
- stabilizer & torsion bars

2. what options on brakes & rear end?
- diff with lsd
- disk brakes front and rear
- brake booster

I want the options that will allow the car to b used for winding roads with a lil sideways action.

For a lil sidewise action, don't change the suspension at all.

The suspension upgrades for B110 apply equally as well to B210.

No, few (if any) people have ever done that. It won't make the car handle any better but if done right it might give a smoother ride.

the reasoning behind my quest for info on the IRS conversion is because my 1st car(ee90 rolla) had it and was loads of fun around corners and since the 120y would b my 1st car on leafs i am unsure of its handling capabilities as compared to that.

A leaf spring car can achieve as good roadholding as an IRS. On the other hand the handling can be better with IRS, i.e. not ruffled by bumps in the corners (if done right).

The road racers here recommend leafs.

Can't go wrong with leafs.
The Corvette's use IRS and inverted leaf's and look how they handle :)

Thanks, what would be a good leaf spring setup, don't mind if ride quality is affected.
