tubes would be the axle tubes, part of the diff housing
and DD the axle thickness would obviously measure up different between 145 and 165 h145 will handle an A14 if you dont give it to hard of a time. and yes early utes did have h145s in them

Measured the axles? The H165 1200 axles and H145 1200 axles measure different?
1200 utes come with H165.

alright thanks yea i measured the axels and now think it is a h145. ill have a look arounf for a h165 because im putting an a14 in and the h145 cant handle the extra torque if im correct?

looks like a h145, if the 120y tailshaft suits that diff and it was from a manual car then yes it can be used. the ute h165 is stronger though

after looking through the wiki im thinking it could be a h165. can you use a 120y tailshaft with the ute h165 setup?

its in my 1200 ute but unsure what diff it actually is? i also have a 120y tailshaft can this be used in the ute?
