Hey all, i saw the ad and i thought "oh hell yeah they put a 1200 in the ad!"
Truth is, the cars they actually have as undercover cars will never be anything Datsun. The new "undercover cars" will be much the same as the rest of them. Falcon ute with fibreglass canopy, colorado ute with fibreglass canopy, commodore with canopy etc. nothing out of the ordinary. The new thing to watch for is the undercover motorbikes. The QLD police have a few high power road bikes out there now to fight the weekend warriors (GSXR's etc). In other words, be careful if you are heading out for a quick cruise through the usual circuits in the hills.

Im sure you're all aware of the usual undercover cars, ranging from landcruisers to golf GTi's. Just be careful, there is alot of coppers out there. Look for the usual tell-tale's Oh and look out for the random cop cars that only have video. They record what you do and then hit you up a few days/weeks later. (theres a few, red typhoon amongst others)

Without sounding like a wet blanket, at the end of the day, if you don't speed, you won't get a fine.

Cheers
Dave

Well I wouldn't be going vigilante on a Datsun just cos Mr Plod and the government (aka the Man) have forced it against it's will into serving them.

I would however find someone to organise a truck to double park in front of it blocking the camera

same here, think they had a few kia's but i would have thought that would be an OHS issue?

they even had some cars with mis matching color doors to body to make them look like damaged cars to blend in, there was a magna like that and a rodeo.

doubt they would be using a 45k 4wd, in vic they like using tradies cars to fool you into thinking they are just tradies, not new roof racks and no ladder or the white pvc pipe to hold cables etc ;)
