yeh thats what i am thinking, possibly get the sheet metal guys to get em roughly to shape then i can weld em in..

yeah im sure they do have the 30 year old presses lying about...

If you want it on one sheet, thats a big ask.
If you are happy with it sections that you weld in then thats a bit more achieveable. These days you dont even have to weld. Panel beaters use a glue now to do panel work. They literly just glue the new section in, bog over, paint, done.

The 1k floor pans are pressed from one sheet of steel i think,(you can see the creases in the pan everywhere) and I imagine the the 1200 is the same.
Crack out the hammers, an english wheel and pressbrake and whip em up your self. Should only take you an hour or two....

anyone know anyone who has had a shot at making some floor pans for a 1200 ute? i am keen on keeping the factory strength lines etc..

surely someone has the press for these things laying in there warehouse!
