Well the B310 strut is far too long for a 1200 about 2 inches too long. You would be better off going back to the standard B110 strut with drums, at least it will handle correctly. Or if you can find P610(180b) struts they are nice and short and swap over the small diameter spring seat, or you can do the same mod to most other nissan/datsun struts.

Similar the P610 is the later bluebird I think started 74, strut is the same as a P510, you can't swap the whole strut, have to change the spring seat as it won't fit into the strut tower, if you have access to a welder and angle grinder its a couple hour job.

The Datsun 610 was the successor to the Datsun 510.

Datsun 610 and Datsun B210 use the same suspension series. It is heavier than the B110 suspension.

610 uses heavier springs, But the same strut size and brake hub.

Steering linkage is the same too, same tie rods end and i think the same drag link.

I don't know what all the differences are. The the Nissan B210 intro book states it uses 610 design parts.

B210 and B310 are very different.

"Longer" strut means nothing. More interesting is:
a. strut compression and extension length
b. spring installed height

Which mean is i swap it to b210 then my suspension will hv enough comp n ext length compare to b310,rite??
Coz wif approx 2" bump stop i often ride on the bump stop...

If i swap the b210 strut + current pillowball + S14 rear coil = more lowered n more length for the suspension to play???
