Levey, yeah its great fun, doing it in a 1200 is definately the cheapest way to go, and luckily i get along with my brother extremely well, so it has worked out nicely for both of us going halfs on everything and taking turns to drive/naivgate
I cant believe what some people can afford with their cars, we would love to go something bigger and even 4x4 turbo but the costs are exponential. some guy at the last rally was telling us how great it was he found brake pads that are only 100bucks a set and another how it was cheaper to put magna discs on his evo and let them wear out (change after each event) rather than his fancy brake pads... we always walk away giggling that our hi-lux brakes and first set of pads are still in our car and we cant remember what they cost cause that was three years ago... and thats just brake pads
at least for us i think the most expensive damage we could do is to break a windscreen
