Got the sill migged in today. Cleaned up welds etc and threw a bit of primer over it still got to tidy up a bit more and smooth out joins but very happy one of the big hurdles overcome now.

even better, not cheating, you still have to weld it in there.

might look at a kit for the sedan eventually.

pfft time and cash is all it takes it wont ever be a show car its just a little run around, motorized box trailer. Cut out and welded in a new piece before the new sill goes on. Also started folding the lip up that the rail has to be reattached to. Thankfully the previous owner left it in the back after unpicking it. Also happy i only have to reattach one side.

Well after weighing up carrying on with this ute or buying a better shell we decided to just keep going with this one. Made some progress on the dogleg repairs today and inner panel behind sill. Pics to come Soonish.

While deciding to buy up some new sections off the hermitcrab guy on ebay and awaiting there arrival we started passenger side floor and rail. Thankfully all the dogleg and sill are easily repairable on that side. Took a pic of the old one i cut out. You cant really see in pic but down close to the ground the rail is rusted right through same with the bit you can see. Have cut out the good floor and rail off parts car just a bit of clean up and tack it in tomorrow.
