the maddat kit looks as though its made to work with a 12a timing cover (front mounted)
you could use late model 13b mounts with a modified 1200 engine crossmember but that could make it very hard to get an exhuast or turbo manifold passed the mounts and steering box

early rx crossmember would need to be heavily modified to fit a 1200

ive front mounted my 12a (as per factory) but with a custom front crossmember and custom mounts on the chassis rails

so i would be better of with front mount engine mounts on the chassis rails than a full front left to right crossmember and keep my reversed engine crossmember (using my my a12 one)?

pretty sure maddat's kit doesn't use the front mount, mounts same way as an fd using the side mounts i think

yeah im sure too that maddat only use the center ones in the midle of the engine, okay so i will be using a front mount so i can put my exhaust through? hey ANGE which gear box did you use? supra 5 speed or standard?

um not too sure what you mean there...

but like i said the only disadvantage i can see with going with late 13b mounts is clearance for exhaust or turbo manifold (whatever it may be)

maddat kit looks pretty good but the hardest part of a rotary conversion into 1200 that i found is getting the engine/box to sit at a good useable angle. mine runs at 4degrees from motor to gearbox which is less than ideal but the best i could get without modifying the steering drag link to get the motor to sit lower. ive seen plenty of pics of 1200/rotary conversions that sit on a vicious angle but most are drag cars so i guess it doesnt matter too much for them anyway
