it has no markings on the box and its smooth case and looks like my other stumpy on the garage floor. can any one tell me where the numbers are or how to tell wat the box is??
the bell is different colour to rear so i think it may have been changed and it was in a sunny with a worked l16

can you save me the reverse sensor if its the a series short one? mines knackered and will need to be replaced.

i say its a sss stanza box coz it looks to have an alloy sandwich plate between the front and rear sections of the box. R30 has a steel one. unfortunatly you cant use the stanza box behind a CA

easy way to tell is the dogleg shift pattern,

EDIT, just looked at it again, seems a bit big to be a sss box so is probably just some grey paint on the sandwich plate that made it look alloy

the stamp on it is #1 its the same on both

not sss, they are stamped #3. shouldnt be h pattern 5 speed from stanza, so your all good there then.
