Things going to get busy with work and family. Depending on how the boy goes might be able to make progress on the bike resto. Frame ready for paint and engine overhaul kit has arrived.

Yeah, original colour was Yamaha Gold Yellow Pearl. Which depending on how it was aplied on the day can be yellow to and orange gold. Thats the problem with candy paints on numerous parts and parts which are hard to paint.

Using VT Commodore Tiger Gold and we have added extra Gold Pearl which gives it a slightly lighter and more Yellow in the colour. Acrylic Though not candy due to cost and difficulty in using candy paint.

Frame, swing arm and swing arm parts ready to be undercoasted grey. Have etched primed them ready. So will get these done, then re-build motor and drop it back in before continuing resto.

My coupe will be at MAX show as well, so that be 2 Datsun's. Worst case will get someone to take it down and setup a display as Brye's treatment could last 6 months or more but will see how it all plays out. Thanks for your support.

i startwed girinding and smoothing off all the crap in the engine bay ,but i still need to take the mc of and wire wheel behind it !
