Winton July 4 sounds like the time to test them!

Have you decided what ECU to run?
You might be able to use a dissy out of an EFI pulsar for your ref. and sync. signal.

Haven't quite decided on computer but megasquirts looking good, specially with the backup service from this site now ;)
but then I've got a mate down here who's pushing for microtech lt8 or something ?

Was thinking crank angle for the trigger or mod the bluebird electronic that's in there ?

Always open to suggestions tho ;)

microtech are simple overpriced crap. Megasquirt it! looks good mate, and seriously there isn't heaps to it once you have the manifold made... sort of :)

to save you a heap of hassle you can just but them all made, and get a loom.

the simplest way if you are happy running batch fire injection and wasted spark is run a crank trigger wheel and sensor. easy and cheap.

megasquirt have just come out with their latest version that can do sequential injection and ignition for up to 8 cylinders if you wanna start getting complex

I have a loom for a Motec M4 to suit the mighty A.
Comes with all sensors, fuses, relays, coil and incluing crank trigger. $350. And an M4pro, sequential, logging, traction control etc. $1400.

tomorrow i'll have the manifold and TBs arart and ill chuck up some pics ...

the runners are pressed to shape to suit the oval ports and also the TB dia.
all out of one peice of alloy tube, rather impressive and the internal change is nice and smooth ;)
