well it's great coz all my mates live within skating distance so the skatey is my choice of transport for parties, best feeling in the world is cruisin down a big long hill, beer in hand, beats in the ears on the way to a party

At those temperatures, its not the walk, its the falling over and that tiny voice that says "if you pass out here youll be dead by morning"..thanks tiny voice.

There's some cool drains around that area we used to skate and explore :)

Ainslie drains was the place...even featured in one of the early Powell vids (Animal Chin maybe?).
We used to skate the spillway that ran adjacent to the Tuggeranong Parkway at the foot of Mt. Taylor, also further along Mt. Taylor was the "Insano" HUUUGE stormwater pipe that ran all the way down under Wanniassa. :)

Yeh im hanging to visit again, too old to skate or go ferriting underground now but some good mates still there (and my old 1200 ute!)

lol my first 1200 ute is there too... i used to live right near Mt Taylor and remember whatching the flames come over the top and down it during the bushfires... i used to get up early and hit the Tuggers skate park on the way to work on my BMX... i also remember nearly dying on my mates skateboard rolling down the massive hill from Torrens to Waniassa.

the bushfires also wrecked my dirt jumps.
