take the wheel to depulu wheels down the gold coast (ashmore) they do great work fixing old wheels, they fixed one of mine for me.

When i bought mine I found this link, it might be old but I thought they were still in production, the Japanese watanabe rs-8's are different from the us type r type ones. Dunno how old that link is.
