Yeah we notched our one and put gussets in it before replating to put stength back in and used original CA engine mounts with the Maddat SR Nolathane (the blue ones) mounts no sump mods and it sits heaps low

still for sale - excellent piece of kit for your conversion.

Does this help for lowness of engine?

nah need to measure from the bottom of teh block to the top of the crossmember or something like that on both sides, then you can see how low it sits on the crossmember
