hhmm mike when you coming around to tune my carbys ,and sorry for hijacking this thread but does anyone know anything about the starter discs on phh40 carbs

oh and i paid for mine with parts but nigel paid 150 or 200 (not 100% sure)for them ,with a manifold and linkages

yes they perform the same function as a choke. A little external spring keeps the starter OFF (anti-clockwise). Your choke cable will turn it clockwise for starting.
