Found a A15 with no carb ,no manifolds, no fuel pump,no alt ,no dissy , suposed to have head work done, Any idea what it worth . cheers Mal .

$50, unless there is some way to verify if it's in good shape, consider it a rebuilder.

Depending on condition of the head and if it is an oval port head in good condition plus block I'd say it was worth at minimum $150.00?

Its a oval port head thats been port matched to a set of delotoes , which dont come with the motor , had a look down the ports and the valves look to open a long way ,maybe a big cam ? anyway he's got 600 bucks on the motor bit steep considering theres no accessories on it .

the fact that it is portmatched to carbs you dont get means nothing.
Perhaps i was a bit nasty with my estimation.
Clyons8 is probally closer to the mark, but no more than $150 unless he can prove the head is worth the cash.

For $600 id expect it to have double valve springs, maybe fixed spacers, roller rockers and massive valves.

The lumpy cam (if it has it and can prove it) is worth nothing second hand.

Its hard to see whats done to a motor unless ya strip it i guess , than its a bit late after ya bought it , any way thanks for ya views , greatly appreceated, ill just have ta keep lookin i guess,one will come up eventually.
