#1 FS: Incomplete 1200 Ute
m_amery Posted on: 2010/6/5 7:54
For sale is my incomplete project car, after taking the head off the engine today and finding that cylinder is ceased I've come to the conclusion that I can't have the ute finished in time for my 17th and that its better for me to cut my losses now.

I've spent roughly $7,800 on the ute to date and I guess I'll consider offers.

I am going to consider any reasonable offers, I sorta just want it gone. If I can get $7,000 for it I will be over the moon.

What's on offer?

- Re-sprayed in Volkswagen Robinrot red
- Brand new original Datsun door seals, window seals etc.
- Brand new tail lights, indicators, parking lights, rear view mirror, antenna, Speco gauges (3 inch Tacho & Speedo, 1.5 inch water temp, fuel, oil temp and volt)
- Reconditioned dash and trims
- Original seats and trims reupholstered
- Brand new carpet and sound proofing
- Brakes overhauled and reconditioned
Front: 180B calipers overhauled and reconditioned to meet original manufacturers standards, brand new rotors & disc pads
Rear: Original drums machined and relined, brand new wheel cylinders, brand new brake shoes.
- Brand new front gas cartridges and springs (1.5-2 inches shorter then original length)
- Boxes of unneeded parts and bits and peices

I've probably missed something, because this is the second time I am typing this. The computer decided to stop working as I went to post it.

What needs to be done to get it on the road?

All that this ute needs to get on the road is a replacement A12, new clutch and new rear shock absorbers and time to finish what I've started.

A replacement A12 can be bought from townie for $150 ono. Follow the link to view classified:
