I think from memory that Tomei make such a system for the CA18... Anything regarding a naturally aspirated nissan engine i would look at Tomei first and then Nismo.

Revs to about 10,000rpm with ITB injection- the works. Made around 250hp or so at the flywheel.

wouldnt quad throttle injection be the better way to go? would probably be just as much time and money involved. but you would have efi tuneablility economy and power with that carby induction noise
would also look neater as you could keep the stock ignition setup rather than having to fit a dizzy in then have leads going all over the place

well i dont know how you would go about timing it cos you would need to sort out the ignition as the CA has a computer to do all the work and you could try to adapt a dizzy to it or run a crank angle sensor and then run that to a module or something to do the rest of the work for you

lets pretend ZigZag doesnt know what you are talking about.
say it again, for his sake

funny thing about that, gov'na can say what he wants, dont need smog anymore, and i havent met a cop that knows what engines datsuns came with. i could tell them its stock and pull it off

Jake are those Keihin's bit small for your 1.8? I like the idea of a carburetted CA but it might be more hassle than you think..

Registering interest now.
there is a certain sigma dizzy that can be modded to fit, cant remember what series of sigma, but its a elec of a 2.6 astron.
Runs the same style of inside parts as the series 2 bluey dizzy, but they run in the oppisite direction from memory.
Will also have to adap a mount to bolt up to where the existing ca18 CAS went.

Webber manifold are available, but uber rare :(
I have one of these, it was the first one seen in years of hunting down ca18 bits in japan.

40's or 45's will be fine.
get some huge cams ground up, use ca16de pistons for higher compression.

Tuf110, im interested to see how and what youve mounted them bike carbs too, I assume they are softmounted, but to what?
modified standard ca18 butterfly manifold peice?
