well i dont know how you would go about timing it cos you would need to sort out the ignition as the CA has a computer to do all the work and you could try to adapt a dizzy to it or run a crank angle sensor and then run that to a module or something to do the rest of the work for you

i would go for 45s and use the standard manifold (bit with the butterlfys in it) and try to mount the webers to that by weldin the weber flanges onto it

i was thinking about this setup but then i figured out all the iwring so im goin for DET

well i have been very indecisive these past few years on an engine setup, from A15 to CA back to A15 back to CA......
ANYWAY
i have finally found a setup i like.
CA18D
going to take a CA18DE motor, take off the EFI and put carbs on it. since the intake will go to my passenger side(LHD) i will have 0 clearance issues.
now my questions.
1)does anyone know if there is an intake for carbs available? or will i have to have one made?
2) do i have to just rip off the EFI and hook up the carbs and tune them? or is there more involved?
3)Who wants the EFI intake?(lol)
4)will weber 40's work? or will 45's be nesessary?
also, i am lazy, so can anyone direct me to the maddat mounting kit for the CA?
thanks for any help you can offer
