picked up the motor yesterday , just need to strip , clean and paint it now to get in ready for installation. Cant wait to feel the power that it will release into the little GX. Some pics , will upload clearer ones later.

Main reason for the 20valve and not the 16valve is the four throttle bodies instead of 1

made a short list of some of the things that needs to be completed:
Carpets Door panels Front Panels Back Panels Boot Panels Roof lining Back lights Side indicators Front lights Mirrors Electric windows Central locking Steering coulomb and rack Steering wheel Pedals Dash Boot plates Locks Ignition back wiring harness Battery cables to boot Alternator cables to boot Back seat but the list is still much longer than this. Seems like i have more than enough work to keep me busy with.......

The shell is at home at last so this weekend was a bit of a busy weekend for me.

did a first fit with the engine to see what it would look like. Now it is for the custom engine mountings. Think this will be fun.......

and so another weekend has gone by. had a bday party for the youngest one on Saturday. so no work was done on the car. Did some work today. Carpets is almost done, would say about 80%.
Playing with the motor to see the best way to get the mountings done.
