Whatever happened to it?

I know there used to be 1200 sedan that looked stock standard in Queensland. Only thing was it had a 302 V8 in between the chassis rails.
It was for sale around 1998 and was just wondering if anybody here owns it or if any of you have seen it in your travels. It was rumoured to have a pretty good power to weight ratio. Do you think?
