Not genuine, got some ghrome guards for early Yamaha bike im restoring from thialand and they have the press marks and scratches from being made and chrome quality is the same.

Nissan have probably sourced other factories in Asia to produce these parts [EDIT; As mentioned by Lachie], so it may still be 'genuine' Nissan, but not the genuine you want. So I don't reckon there's been any misinformation on Maddat's behalf.

Just send it back on the grounds that it isn;t up to the standards that you would expect from a genuine Nissan part and put the money toward the re-chrome of an old one .

Oh and no mounting hardware... You have to use old bolts and old chrome round head bolts... Pretty average

Well after seeing the bumper this arvo, I can see where you get the idea it's a copy, it has press marks all over it, chrome is #OOPS#ty. Silver paint has been used on the inside of the bumper, has 2 strange holes near the number plate holes that are also painted roughly with silver paint.... I would be asking for money back....

I've ordered two bumpers genuine bumpers late last year and had to return both cause the Taiwanese one I have at the moment is on par with the genuine ones for quality. With the ones I ordered only the top half was properly polished and they had scratch marks were it looks like imperfections were roughly ground off.
