1976 Datsun 120y Deluxe Sedan.
Originally an Auto it has been converted to a manual so has the larger tunnel. Engine is an a12 and has been rebuilt approx 35000kms ago with all new internals, bored, oversize pistons, fully balanced bottom end etc. Has standard head, intake, carby, exhaust manifold etc but as all internals already done would need relatively little work for good power improvements. Has 2 and a 1/4 inch exhaust system from manifold back. Runs beautifully as previous owner was local mechanic.
Body is extremely straight and clean. Car exterior has been resprayed in original baby blue colour and done very well approx 2 years ago. All chrome, grille and other original features in immaculate condition. Only issue with Body is very small amount of rust just starting to show through in bottom of 3 of the 4 doors, 2 tiny little bubbles in boot lid and 10 cent piece size spot in passenger side A pillar. All areas would be extremely easy to repair. Had a quote from local panel beater for just the doors and boot to be repaired and for full cut out he said it would cost approx $600-$800. No rust in chassis, boot, engine bay, wheel arches or anywhere else in the car.
Only modifications are - 16 inch Starcorp Mags with front tyres 70% tread, Rears 30-50%
- Rear leaf springs reset approx 2 inches lower
- Professionally installed Tinted Windows
- CD player running JBL 6x9's in back parcel shelf and JBL 12 inch
sub in boot run off a 4 channel amp also mounted in boot.
- Professionally installed remote alarm and immobiliser
- Sport steering wheel.
Otherwise car is completely stock with immaculate original interior. All original brakes, front suspension, Diff etc. Runs like a clock and extremely reliable. Really turns heads and gets lots of comments.
Car will be sold without rego. Car was de registered approx 1 month ago due to plans for repairs and mods. Unsure therefore wether it will need blue slip or pink slip, either way will pass both.
Reason for sale is myself and the wife are starting a new business and we need the extra capital to get started.
