You could but without some kind of an enclosure behind them itd sound pretty crappy. not sure about the sedan but in the wagon theres more than enough room to fit 6x9ins in the cards behind the seats.

Im sure its only a matter of time before the cops ping me for it unless I can convince them its professionally installed ;) . I tried one of those window suction cup holders before I did this but there was nowhere I could mount it without being in the way. But the ashtray is really made for it in position and proportion!

The only problem with this one is that the bit that you stub yr ciggie out on obstructs the "home" key of the phone, could always cut it off, but I like the way it still resembles an ashtray and as I mentioned, probably the less spent playing with the phone in the car the better...itd be also good if it was bluetooth equipped, I cant find a way of making calls come through the speakers :/

Is it really worth having a set of speakers in the doors when you've got a set in the kick panels? Not much point having them there, i'm leaving the ones in the kick panels and put some tweeters behind/near the headrests. Not that a sound system is much chop when i've got a straight through tuned length exhaust haha.

Thanks Wurz, I put my speakers partly to support the rear lid which is the ex-back seat
back rest support. I housed the speakers in custom made recycled pine offcuts.
Hidden and loud when I tried them with a quick hookup to a 80w unit.
