So I got my hands of some fogs that look almost the same as the original fogs with H3 bulbs 12v.... I was wondering where I should tap into a 12v source? Better yet, can I go straight to the battery?

Hang a fuse off the battery, and use a relay to turn the lights on and off.

See Headlight Wiring, section relay. It applies to fog lamps too.

Thanks, from what I gathered from that read, I should be using 15g wire with a 15amp fuse. Does that sound about right? Don't want any fires!

14 gauge wire can handle 20A for less than ten feet. You can probably use smaller 16 guage too.
