Just use it as a parts car...by the looks of it it was obviously submerged under water at some point is my guess....it can be fixed but depending if you can do it yourself or not...i wouldnt pay someone to do it especially a big job like that, but really is up to you what you want to do

I have been wanting to get a welder and start learning how to use it, i guess if it's cheap enough to get the cut out pieces i need to re weld on there's not much to loose .... just a little self esteem.
How much would you be looking for oan878 ?? Guessing i will need both sides if went ahead with it.

Nothing is impossible, if you have the patience and your willing to learn then you have nothing to lose... My ute was pretty rusty but I am working through it and replacing all panels and repairing anything that looks suds along the way... Atleast I will know the car has had quality repairs and no rust... Unlike someone who just paints a fresh coat and will never know what's underneath And also how to repair ;)

if you have a look at his photo bucket album you will see that the doors are also pretty dead so it would really be a much better option to just get a new one. as if you are learning how to do repairs you wont get them spot on then you will have a whole heap of hassles getting it straight and what not. sure it would be a good learning experience but i'd not really advise doing it for any purpose other than learning how to do panel repairs

I agree pigdog I restore cars for a living and it is very easy for people to bite off more than they should , if you have the spare time and money and your only going toss the car anyway, learn on it before you throw it out .But if your new at it and learning don't attempt it if your not prepared to tip the end result.
