Considering a set of rims.

Rear fitment isn't a problem, as I'm cutting down a diff to suit. Fronts are 7" wide and +25 offset, has anyone fitted similar width/offset rims to the front of a 120Y?

I'm confident it won't scrub badly on the outside, I'm mostly worried about clearance to the strut and inner guard.

I'm still running 120Y struts & have no plan/desire to upgrade.

i had 7' 0 on late model struts, and would of had about 25mm clearence from inside of wheel to strut.on a coupe but also not a fordoor.

You can use the below website to see the difference between different width and offset rims, gives clearance between strut and rim plus extra width.

http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/offset.html

EDIT: says the below when comparing 7" +25 to std b210 4.5" +30 steel rims.

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 27mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 37mm

Leigh I have wheels in the garage with those exact specs. Just pop over and try them on the weekend.
