Roof Scoop

Hi Guys
are there anyone using Roof Scoop in their cars ? actually is it only the ventilation component to the drivers cabin or it has something more about air flow circulation process to gain speed ? what are you using for ventilation those who don't use ac and roof scoop ? Thanks Regards sumith

A roof scoop is for rear-engine cars, to get air to the engine.

is it blowing air through driving cabin ? i have seen it is fixed just above the windscreen ? thanks Regards sumith

On real roof scoops, air does not go through the cabin. On faux ones, it might. Most are only for looks and do nothing but increase aerodynamic drag.

As dd said, for rear engine cars and the only other place I see it viable is in rally cars.

ones at the front of the roof are on rally cars, think i heard its to pressurise the cabin so dust doesnt come in or something like that...or i could be completely wrong
