ok today my new sills rocked up and they look tops !
was so happy when i got home and they were sitting in my room :D
no way am i fitting them ,they look really hard to fit!!!
ok so i have pics of my engine!! so ill try to get some up now

ok small pis but ill put them up bigger tomorrow
also ,ill put some up more of the block ,and the bore
PS i cleaned the old oil off the crank with a rag ,which left flffy stuff on the journals ,thats why they looks dirty ,and i had just oiled it all up so i could rap it up
can anyone tell me what the go is with the blue lip on the crank ?? is it normal ? a sign of wear ? looksa bit worrying ,as its got a burred edge on it ,which doesnt seem normal

I went for a drive today in the ute ,warmed up and was going great ,idled and was drivable at low revs
For the first time in a while I drove my ute through a round about in third gear with out stalling or bogging haha was the best feeling knowing that there is a light at the end of the tunnel ,so im now pretty sure it will be streetable
Now the bad news ! Got back to the shop and popped the bonnet ,and my new liquid filled fp gauge has died ! ,it was saying I had 0 fuel pressure ,so I pulled it off and iblew it out to test it ,then it suddenly jumoed up after I blew air into it ,so it might be ok ,just need to set the pressure again

Ok so I pulled the off about an hour ago after work
The a12 seems to have really low dish pistons and the bores are all still good
I pulled the head off with the carbs and wxtractors still attachwd haha
