ok then if masking tape pulls it off its most likely goin to fall of when you drive it and if that happens its back to bare metal to put a soild base down or you will keep having trubles sorry for the bad news mate

When I pulled up the first mask I had one or two little spots that came up (thats ok because those spots need to be painted black.....if it happens when pulling up the second mask I,ll have to repaint parts of it. Also in some parts around the door shuts and sils I gave it a prity light sand.

Anything that goes under i,ll just think of it like overspray, ie if I get overspray on the glass i,d compound cut it off.....

One thing I thought of last night was not to do a secound mask and just use sheats of thin cardboard placed over the green....

At this stage I plan to sand off the edges with 1200 grit and cut and buff to make a smooth finish, i,m also going black on the sils and top half of door shuts and door frames. The strips will go down over the boot and back of car also

yer so its just stripes over the bonnet and roof and over the boot, like GT stripes. i would clear the whole lot after you spray the black cause u will have edges otherwise.
