Soooooo, I sold the mx5 and bought a bike which I've wanted for ages, and now doing more work to my baby.
Struts are at Wholesale Suspension getting shortened and coilover sleeves welded on with externally adjustable Koni inserts, and camber tops. Then just gotta chuck the hubs back on and save for the s13 rotors and pads.
Then probably gunna look for some shorter, stiffer rear shocks.
Will keep you guys posted :) Can't wait.

So coilovers won't be finished till next week, cos the bloke building them is off work injured. But hopefully will get them back next week and then sort out the brakes and lines then chuck them in when I get time. This waiting sucks, im just so over drum brakes.

So i got my coilovers back, complete. They are made up of 120y struts shortened with HSD coilover sleeves welded on, externally adjustable KONI shocks, and andos spec camber tops. They swapped the standard tendercoil for a King spring one because the standard one didnt suit my setup. Also painted up my s13 calipers and hubs. Ordering the pads and rotors this week, aswell as some braided lines. Cant wait to get it together and go for a burn

Anyone know if the standard s13 flexible brake lines have the same thread as the 1200 lines and will screw into the standard 1200 solid brake lines? Or are they a different thread? Tried screwing them into a solid line fitting i had in the garage but seemed to be different thread cos screwed in slightly then got very tight. Am getting braided lines made up but would be helpful to know

Yeah well I put the calipers and rotors on tonight to test fit wheels and what do you know, the SSR's dont fit. The globes do fit, needs a spacer and clears the tyre mint, but then the stud isn't long enough. So needs a special wheel nut that sinks into the hole of the wheel, which I happened to have 2 of to trial fit it. Also gunna ask tomorrow if I can order in some 155/55 14s for stretch so can lower it more
Soooooo over spending money to get this right. So will need to search for a set of wheels later that will fit without too much modification.

Just trial fitted the MkII's Nick. Looks like you're not gunna own them just yet cos they fit mint with a spacer. Gunna have to dial in some camber though, cos they'll be way out the guards I reckon.
