did you flare the ends of the pipe slightly? i have done similar and always get a slight weep from one. Not enough to cause a puddle or drip on the ground, just crusty residue around the weep. works great though.

do them now, a bit of wled about 15mm from the ends so the clamps can clamp. all good.
are the seats from 240z or similar? dodnt look like 1200 seats, maybe ute but still thin backed.

yeh ill prob do them both after i make the top section. may even use t bar clamps!

Seats are from a 260Z i think, not sure if 240's are the same.. sporty looking but also fit the era.
The drivers one will be swapped for a race seat at the track

I was gunna say, cos you'll be on top of the passenger seat holding on for dear life in a tight right hander. Bucket seat was my best ever purchase for my car.

haha yeh, there wont be any "fast" corners in this when its finished, it will only have 4" wide wheels on the front lol
