So this is the guy who gave us alternating current, hydro electricity, wireless transmission (radio, tv etc), the ignition coil, the distributor, the modern alternator and a whole host of other gadgets.

What I want to know is...

Why has no one ever built his worldwide COMPLETELY FREE wireless electricity generation and distribution system?

It seems strange we don't want free energy.

Why has no one ever built it? Because it didn't work.

Care to elaborate?

Perhaps it didn't work because no one ever built it?

I know a bit about him.
He was building a radio tower that was being bank rolled by the fat cats if the day. When they found out what he was really building, they pulled the pin on him. They didn't want people getting free energy when they were making money by selling it. He also had many other ideas that might sound far out, but that probably would have worked. (zenith weapons and the like)
So depsite being one of the greatest scientists ever, he died a pennyless nobody. I've heard that before he was even cold the FBI went to his #OOPS#hole apartment and cleaned out all his work/notes ect so that noone else would get them.
He served as an apprentice for thomas edison, who stole the lightbulb off him.

Yes, you can distribute power wirelessly, it is being done today. But what didn't work was generating large quantities of electricity for free.

A14 Force - What I've read confirms that, and a whole lot of other stuff.

DD - Yeah the transmission bit is all worked out and demonstrated Tesla ran a remote control boat in the early 1900's with working lights and engine with no battery. He transmitted power and control signals to it wirelessly.

Funny thing is the transmission and generation ideas are two sides of the same coin - there's no appreciable difference between the concepts (from what I have read and can understand)

I did high school work experience at AWA when they were in Croydon (parramatta rd), and the boss guy there at the time was elec-eng nerdy sorta guy at the time. He also told me about how he knew a bloke who built a RF -> power project, and that houses behind him had poor radio station reception and someone busted him. It was 20+ year ago.. and I think I killed those braincells a long time ago.

Maybe he was paraphrasing the Tesla story.. Interesting thoughts though.
