Back to work on the ute after leaving it on the back burner for 6 months. It will be at powercruise so I have 44 days until it needs to be ready. 14 of those I will be away for work so it doesnt leave much time. I started cutting off the tray rails and the rain gutters. There's still a bit left to do on the body until it can get a coat of primer, and if my welder would play the game it would get done a lot quicker! Hopefully attack the new tunnel on the weekend.

All the rails are done now. If it had my time again i wouldnt bother so i hope the end result is worth it. There is a fair bit of work involved, kudos to whoever has done it and had a great result. The shell is not completely bare are the body work is close to completion. Im hoping to have a coat of primer on it in the next couple of days. I shall send my diffs off on monday to have the 31 diff shortened. Hopefully it will be done quick, and i will have time to get a tailshaft sorted. I spent basically most of the day prepping the 31 diff.

Ive had a few days to do some more work. It's getting closer and closer to the end of september and im starting to freak a bit. My radiator turned out to be too big, so i had to order another one, isnapped the turbo shaft when i began to rebuild it last night, bugger. But i'll run the GT3076R and see what happens. I picked up a forged engine last week, threw in some 660cc injectors, my Z32 afm turned up, clutch kit, new carpet, new mirrors. Here's a couple of progress pics:

got my diff back from final drive the other day. its all sweet and they did a good job, new axles, and i bought new slotted discs too! It goes in tomorrow to be put together (final drive only do 9inch stuff, borgies they wont put together). I have rebuild kits for my calipers so i'll get them sorted while the diff is getting done.
