Got the rear tyres sorted out, after that the carby started to give some trouble when driving it was very uncomfortable,at low speeds it will have a flat spot and hesitation,it will idle very good no issues but at around 1500 rpm it will die out then pick back up,removed the top and rechecked all jets, checked float level and for air leaks ,it was a used carb that i got and had been on for about 4 years tho i figure its time,so i decided to go and get a new one from the performance shop.
Some pics of the carby.
Also as that was happening the charge light was staying on,rev her up and the light will come off, checked the voltage and it was somewhere at 14.05, so it was overcharging, i ruilled out the voltage regulator so it wasn't that, went to a local scrap yard and picked up an alternator from the Mazda 626 F6 8-valve SOHC engine, bolts straight on to the A series engine block no mods, all jacks plug in,just to rewire.By-pass the external voltage regulator? the electrician did that part for me.
Some pics!

Oh that looks good!

By the way, lead acid batteries (car batteries) require a charging voltage of about 13.5-15.5 volts depending on temperature. Here are the Datsun 1200 factory service manual specifications:

Removed my old oil catch can and made a new one.The previous one the hose barbs were falling out, so i drilled the holes a little smaller and screwed them in,hold s up much better.
Got the front calipers from the Nissan Y11 series.Rotors are from the S13,Plan to use the 13'' wheels

If you are not required to, don't plumb your crankcase blow-by back into your carb. You are just loosing HP. Plumb it into your exhaust. Let that Weber do its job.
