Tried Removing EGR,But i can seem to get it off.It may need some heat to remove it.

That rusty free bonnet came up nice.how about the roof dent

Yea,well we were going to try dent pulling, but pushing up the hood from inside would be a bit easier

Mate, the engine looks great! You have definitely put some good time and effort into prepping this new motor, shame about the bonnet and roof!!
Havent read every comment closely so if its already been said sorry.
So on your cylinder head there are a couple of small water jacket holes below the oval ports. If you're going to or planning to run twin carbies in the future those holes as a precaution need to be blocked up. I put a single sidedraft on my mild a12 with an h89 head. The original manifold i believe covers those holes which doesnt create a water leak, with my single sideraft manifold the water piddled out of the holes so i pulled the manifold and tapped the hole put in a flush hex head screw with some loctite, good as gold!
Also another bloke on here built an a15 with twin sidedraft webers and had to do the same thing after having it leak.
Just a heads up in case you go down that path, sorry its a bit long winded.

Latest addition to the A15 build!! I acquired a 60a 4 speed Gearbox while searching on the net,came across a mate with another dattowho had a box up for sale.So i snached it for my own...Seems to be the best fitted gearbox to A15's

Crossmember After rust treated and Sprayed Gloss black,So good!

Didn't waste much time,Got to it quickly '' Same day i got it ''.
Blocked up some holes so water did not enter it.

Water,Soap power,bleach and a steel brush Got Off all the mock and grime off it....

In the process of washing it



Put it out to dry









Everyting is all good.

Ok so after washing box we prepaired it for some paint.
I have also to change the gearbox mount and rear seal.

Looks going but I don't see point of it. Pita for any one that needs to rebuild it on years time.

Well I just wanted evrything nice an clean for when i'm ready to Install my a15.I will have to make a custom bracket to fit the 6o series gearbox.

Was Lucky enought to go to the scrap yard and i scored an B210 sway bar and what seems to be a 3 core radiator.













Radiator not sprayed black yet becausei ave to do some mods to it.
