Has anyone tried to fit a dirt bike in the tray of a 1200 ute before? will it fit? how much length is their
diagonally across the tray?
I have to get my bike down to Nowra this weekend, and can borrow mates ute if necessary.
Thanks,
James.

Probably a bit late. I had to use my ute to take my Suruki GS500 to get home cos I was dropping off the ute for the engine rebuild. It was a squeeze to get that in -
the tailgate wouldn't close.

The 5 second motorcross guide....

As a guide 80cc/ old 125cc's no problem
New 125/old 250 motorcrossers ... squueeeeze

New 250cc + and four strokes good luck.

Thanks for the reply Andrew, I tried to fit my old chook chaser bike(xr200) on the ute tray it _just_ fit with the tailgate open. In the end, I decided against transporting it
that way.. it would be ok if you took th front wheel off or only travelled a short distance. It was worth a try though.

James.
