Who is the owner of the 1200 ute with red and white two tone.
Engine bay in white with red around the outsides. I have seen it in a 7yo mag and want to do my paint the same.

Great weekend, lots of fun, It so so great to get back on the circuit after quite a few years away. My little A-series performed faultless, and i didn't have turn a spanner on it or even dip the oil. not bad for a little motor that hadn't been run in anger for nearly 6 years.

It was such a blast to run up against much much more powerful machines and have a go. Down the straigts i would get monstered back under brakes and corners the little 1200 was as good, and in some cases better than most. I think a higher powered A-series is on the cards. I think the suspension and brakes are up for sub 11's, more power and driver practice, I think it can do it.

Great to meet up with the guys from interstate again, top bunch of people and always good for a chat...

It was good to catch up with a few people i hadnt seen in a while and meet some new people also.

was pretty happy with my 120y...apart from on the short track i had a bit of a miss...but sorted that out before the hillclimb and long track.

I managed a 1:20.3 which im pretty happy with for the first time racing this car.
The car and it still has standard 120y brakes all round and a open diff might have to upgrade a few bits before next time.

The A14 took a flogging and at times it going to the end of the tacho past 8000rpm!(whoops)
but it loved it.

did the 300zx driver back off when he realised hed blow a headgasket before having half a chance with you?

I get inspired by some other cars in IPRA, Under 2 Litre cars doing 1.07s at wakefield and 1.46's at Eastern Creek!! Just proves that you can always go quicker!
