I had a B310 with a 'worked' A12. 1287cc, mild cam, GX head, twin 40s, extractors. In full road going spec (ie not stripped out) did 16.6 quarter mile at 82mph. My guess is 9 secs (ish) to 62mph/100kmh.

What is your presant time how mutch are you planing on spending? I would say its posible, where are you? the hight above sea level makes a difference.

Fuel injection (better controleble), Crank pickup (dizzy takes engin power), Good ratio gearbox (can play with to get more power to wait), Diff Ratio ( can play there too), Maby a big valve conversion, Stainless sleaves (bigger bore), Traction bars or Link suspention (power to the wheels not the springs)

All these can help you get there, BUT its gonna cost you an arm and leg.
Why do you wanne do this?

Now we are getting some where. I can respect that, (would p.. me of 2) but stay focused, the lancer is not a 1200 and not a toy, but with what you have woun't cut it, you nead some seriouce tunning, i hope your pucketts are deap, you will nead them.
but its poseble!! good luck

A a12 is worth, but you have to bring it! It wount be easy, BUT posible in my opinion. I don't have the anser how to get there but check my first reply, Thats my best answer on how to get that darn Lanser,
You know a turbo would sort you out first time round?

Cheers

you can do nearly anything if you have the $$$... heavily worked A15 with the right gearbox and diff ratios would be a good start.
