Hy. I suggest you call Nissan motorsports ,get a catalog and show it to this guys at the dealer, many dealer sales people do not know about this nissan area(motorsports). If you are
not in US,you can still call them and order from them. They can tell you if they can get in contact with your nissan dealer in your country or directly with you. Let me know if I can
help you ,Australia(if you are there,or New Zealand, should have a nissan motorsports or equivalent chapter.
Have fun.

Here's what happened;
I gave him the part no and he had to ring Nissan in Auckland to find it and they must not be able to put NisMo numbers in their computer. He rang back about 2 mins later and said they
could not make sense of the number. He asked what they were for and I told him adjustable Koni shocks for Datsun 1200 Coupe and he said 'I suspect that will be why'. He said that most of
the older stuff is NLA. Nevermind.
I'll try Stocks in Auckland, they sell Koni. If they can't use the Koni part number they will match something up I'm sure.

The nissan motorsports number is (koni rear adjustables ) 99996-2359A , and the Koni numbers on the shock(koni terminology, not nissans) is:80A 2359. With this koni number a
koni dealer can look around for them.
Cheers.
Jaime.

Hy nzdatman. The nismo # for the shocks is at home ,but I will post it tomorrow. These performance parts are not listed in the regular inventory for nissan dealers, that is why it is better
to get a catalog. If you go to a nissan dealer, you got to specify to the guys at parts thatthey must check the nissan motorsports catalog,if they check their regular inventory
computer, nothing comes out. The phone number for nissan motorsports US is area code 310- 538- 1462 thats right (310)538-1462. When you call ,you can press 2 for parts or 1 for the
catalog.Sorry I do not have the part number on me but I will bring it in tomorrow, and also will check on the shocks the koni number,so you can trace them also through Koni brand. The book
(catalog) lists an E mail-address that I tried to reach today with no luck, all I got was some other nissan site. Try it,perhaps from your area of the world it might work, here it is:
nmc.race@nissan-usa.com
Hope you have better luck at it than me,but in any event, the phone number works from 9 am to 4.30 pm Los Angeles time (known as pacific time here)
Have fun.
Jaime.

Thanks, I'll try the local Nissan dealership first and see what they say. I tried to get some Nissan motorsports A-series engine parts from them once and they said are not available anymore.
I sometimes wonder how hard the parts guys try.

I've got a good book 'How to modify your Nissan & Datsun OHC Engine' which I bought for my Z and 510 engines which has all the Nissan Motorsports part nos. for L-series engine parts. The
book was only printed in 2000 so you'd think the parts must be available, in the US at least. Perhaps it's better to just give them a part no. which they can put in their computer, thereby
bypassing the mental problem some parts guys have with 'old cars'.

Could you post the Nismo part no for the Konis?

Cheers,
Morgan

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of money did you pay for them?

Hy NZDATMAN,I got these shocks (not for my ute 1200,but for my coupe B210) at nissan motorsports in California,US. Contact them for any of your needs. I am not at home now but in my catalog
I have the phone number and E-mail address,if you need it,or in any event,I will post it tomorrow if not today. These are koni adjustables (rear). I do not know if I am right ,but if you
are in New Zealand, your local nissan dealer should have a motorsports catalog or its New Z version available. Find out about it,it is for sure closer to home,if nothing(I doubt it) check
nissan motorsports US.
Have fun
