That rocker cover is a zillion times better than the factory look.

can I ask what kind of crank pulley that is?
Is it also a dampener or just straight alloy?

Thanks, D, alot of grinding and sanding, was going to powder coat it in an anodized blue, but caught the wrinkle finish in a resent G-Works mag and went that way instead. the crank pulley was pert of an ebay set, took it to the machinist, cuz only running single belt and that is what he gave me back. turned out better than i thought it would.

Id love to run a lighweight crank pulley but everywhere
I read it says that it will cause issues with secondary
vibrations and harmonic issues if not balanced together
with all the bits that connect to your crank.
Looks a treat though and would love to do the same to my
ca18 project but the SR cover is better more traditional
of the nissan covers more like a B16 mazda miata cover.

For most engines, a pulley does not need "balancing" if it is made correctly. It's a simple symmetrical structure.

Some engines, some common Ford and GM V8s included, use an unbalanced rotating assembly (called "externally balanced") and so require balancing weights on the flywheel and/or damper. The A-series needs no such thing...does the SR?

I wonder also as most 2 liter engines have more issues with balance
compared to smaller capacity engines. This is true especially with
longer stroked engines like the Mitsu Astron engines.
