Got my new ecm on wednesday, now i need to pull the fuel tank.

the tension rod horn as i call it is the factory one for the car. instead of leaving it as the pull thru tension rod, i opened it up by cutting a large enough hole, then i took and narrowed down the s13 adjustable rod at the pivot end so it would fit in the the bracket since it is double walled. drilled a hole in the bracket. and good to go.

nice work ,looks soo good ,so the tension rod mounts ,are they fartory or ahve they been taken from a silvia and mounted on the chassis rails ?
looks great ,hows the diff going to cope with all that power though ?

i like the idea of the black frame near the windows and the spoiler fits gr8 in there :) car looks really clean but devilish inside

finally got a nice enough day to roll the car out and take some more pics. was playing around and grabbed the 19 x 9.5 rear wheel to try it on and it just fits without rubbing, couldn't believe it.

Thanx DD, yes that is one out of a 1980 200sx, H165, with disk brakes, the calipers were shot had ot buy new ones, $70 each, but they work good now. I gotta remember to bring home some battery cable from work for the battery in the trunk.

brakes are now working, clutch is working to got the e-brake adjusted,took the front tension rod bracket and cut out center bigger and made it bolt up like the s13, so i installed the s13 adjustable tension rod, and then playing around i put on some 19" wheels on the front, started removing the fuel tank, and called it a day.
