ok so you had the axles shortened , and i guess the housing was shortened too? if this is the case the bearing end should have been welded back on with a alighnment bar through the centre of the diff which means the hemi should have been out , if the ends were just thrown on and welded it might not even be straight and you will allways have trouble with it eating hemi bearings and wheel bearings , if you do half a job you get half a result
