There surely must be something about the balancing and strength of bikes engines.
There are drag boosted engines coping with a fair amount of boost and nitrous.
The information is not clear but gives some hope and further interests.

I wouldn't call that "bottom end" -- the torque band is 6,000 to 10,000 RPM. It begins where the A12 leaves off.

The bottom end of an A12 is what? Below 3000 RPM? What does the Suzuki 1300 makes at this RPM? A regular A12 make 65 lb. ft @ 3000 RPM (about 40 ft.lbs on a rear-wheel dyno). Does the hayabusa make this much torque at 3000 rpm?

Was poking around in my brothers A-Mod build thread on another forum and found the dyno chart from when he had the car dynoed. The car is powered by a stock Hayabusa 1300. Nice flat torque curve.

Its got more bottom end than a serious A12
The accusump is still not connected up with a cable, but Im sure itll be fine .../ it has a home made sump on the engine also, like a trick car one with gates etc:. Im not anticipating any oiling issues.
The Q Rbox was $2400 NZ / and it was a very hard decision to spend the money, i looked a t lots of alternative, but I didnt think an electric reverse would jolt it out of a drain if I backed it off the road etc: ...and even making one myself was going to come out at 3/4 of the cost of the Quaife, so I begrudgingly spent the money ...:)

Is that a civic radiator? Looks a lot like the one I bought to eventually replace the corroded one in my coupe. The dimensions are very close to standard.

I figured a worked ca18de head to put out 180hp would probably need at least 5000 aud of port work, solid lifter conversion, lighter retainers, better springs, lighter valves, camshafts, induction/exhaust, pistons, crank and rod work.

This bike head comes with all it needs for 180hp add R1 semi-Downdraft carbs and
Megajolt ignition. Use ZX12R 83mm stock pistons and worked ca18de conrods.

Thanks for the tip, Ill go to Motorcycle wreckers soon to see whats possible.

I could get billet twin plate clutch/flywheel combos from Okinawa for peanuts
at least and bring a cheap head from there on my next trip as locally they
are very expensive wheres also the US are cheap but post the killer.
zx12r ebay item
