Oh devo
Thanks for all the info boys.
Ubfortunatly will be unbolting the flares and welding the holes.
If I can't legally have them filled I won't bother.
As I've already had enough of the highways up here defecting me in my SSS.
6.5 is wide enough but I'd like the car to have flares on it.
And yeh the sr20 is a bit heavier at the front as compared to the a12. Sits fine tho.
Really disappointed I can't run dished wheels and these flares.
Gone were the days when you could have a car how you like. :(

just run your 6.5's and be done with it!! as long as its not too low (or doesnt look it) or too noisy, you should be rite, as the sr under the bonnet should keep them busy for a while, even if it is legit!

can you engineer it as an offroader also like those 4wd hilux with big flares????

Sounds anal to me, not to be able to have flares, maybe wrong engineer or too anal.
You could try another and at worst flare your steel quarters.

Yeh they don't fill the rear flares tho.
Front are perfect
The flares are legal It's just the wide wheels they will punish me on.
Justgunna run them anyway and after 2nd defect I'll get rid of them.

I have had 1200's engineered 6.5 inch and up to 17inch. 205x40x17
We had to use a 200B/Stanza strut with larger axle and bearings.

why not run the 6.5 on the rear with the flares and put in a stronger h190 rear end. the extra trach will help fill the void and put up with the sr20 punishment more lol.

Sssute: oh lovely :) , has stanza front struts now the girlock ones.
And a r31 LSD in the rear that has been cut to standard width as I wasn't allowed to increase track. :)

my car is engineered with 8's on the rear . it also depends on what diff is in your car . bigger diff can handle larger rim and tire set ups because of larger axles and bearings . ur better off just consulting your engineer because they all say different things really .
